Accessible by design

The Cat Whisperer is built to support keyboard navigation, visible focus states, responsive layouts, labelled form controls and clear content structure.

Standards

The target is WCAG 2.2 AA for customer-facing journeys, including profile creation, booking, testimonial submission and feedback capture.

Current support

The app uses semantic headings, skip navigation, high-contrast focus outlines, responsive form grids and server-side validation messages.

Verification

Automated axe-core checks cover the public routes at WCAG A and AA tags. Browser tests also check keyboard skip navigation, 320-pixel reflow and image loading.

Limits and feedback

Automation cannot prove full conformance. Before production, complete manual screen-reader, voice-control, magnification and keyboard testing with disabled users.
